Why IP CCTV Cabling Must Be Properly Certified
IP cameras and PoE technology place much greater demands on cabling than analogue CCTV ever did. A single Cat6A cable must simultaneously carry HD or 4K video data and deliver up to 90W of PoE power to the camera. Marginal cable runs — those with poor terminations, excessive patch leads, or runs close to the 100 metre limit — will cause intermittent camera dropouts, corrupted recordings, and unreliable PoE power delivery. CSC certifies every run with Fluke test equipment, so you have documented proof that your cabling meets the specification for your camera hardware.
UniFi Protect CCTV Installation
CSC installs and mounts Ubiquiti UniFi Protect cameras — including the 4K G6 Turret — across offices, retail, hospitality and industrial environments in the Cayman Islands. The UniFi Protect ecosystem integrates CCTV with access control and networking on a single platform, managed via the UniFi controller. Our partner ICT365 configures the full Protect system post-installation, including:
- UniFi Network Video Recorder (NVR) and cloud key setup
